Ulyesses is a 2yr old neutered Great Pyrenees that was brought back to HSU because he was " Big and Strong". 

We talked to the previous owners to get more information than just "big and strong" and they said that he was a great dog but they were not able to handle him in certain situations.  For example the once brought him to a dog park and a dog came up behind Ulyesses and scared him, the owner tried to pull him away from the other dog when he saw Ulyesses get freaked out and Ulyesses quick turned on him and put his mouth on his arm.  It was not a bite, no blood and not even a bruise, they said that he does well with other dogs after being properly introduced to them. 

He can also get uncomfortable when strangers approach his owners but they never had any issues with him snapping or biting,  Ulysses  can also be an escape artist when given the chance but his previous owner had a high fence and never had an issue.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.
