Great Pyrenees Rescue Montana

The family that lands this sweet, beautiful girl will be so lucky! Kenai has spent all of her life outdoors, in a fenced yard, usually on a 25' line, with no doggie companions. Because of this, she would prefer to be the only dog in a household. She will ignore most dogs or become overly protective around them.

Kenai is very gentle and sweet and has a wonderful disposition. She loves 'her people' and is very protective of them. She would do best in a home with a family that's around and able to spend time with her. We're not sure how she'd do with young kiddos, but think she'd prefer those that are a bit older.

Kenai is currently hanging out in Missoula, MT, and would love to meet interested families! 

For now Kenai requires a good quality food to help her gain some weight - she currently is given Science Diet Large Breed Puppy food and needs that or something similar to put on a few lbs., additionally she needs to be on Cosequin for dogs for some slight arthritis.

We are uncertain how she will be with other dogs but at DogLogic her play pal is a small terrier type dog.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
