Meet Kona!

Kona and his brother were abandoned by a sheepherder a year ago and found starving in the mountains. The family that rescued him loves him dearly, but does not have a fenced yard and needs to find him a new home with a secure yard.

Kona is mellow, easy going, and friendly! He lives with kiddos, other dogs, and a cat, and gets along with everyone. True to his breed, he'd like to go for a jaunt, so a fenced yard is a must. He is currently contained with a chain. He vocalizes a bit when outside and does like to chew when bored (but we think this is because of his age).

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other dog please do the following:

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
