Unreal - how can one dog be so unlucky.  Ghost was adopted out to an elderly couple at 167 pounds and the vet said at that time that he needed to lose 20 lbs.   We accepted Ghost back into rescue a week ago - at 205 lbs!!!!  How can anyone do that to a dog?  Almost worse than starving... poor guy can hardly move.  He is now on a diet and we will be getting his weight down to around 140.

Poor Ghost - not his fault - well, not totally as he does bark too much when left alone... but former owners raved about him tho and said that Ghost is a mazing with other dogs and wonderful with kids.

Ghost is very friendly, loves to be with people.  In the shelter he would bark at any people walking past his kennel if he wasn’t with his people.  He is house trained, does well with children, has been tested with dogs and did OK.

Ghost is 3 years, 7 months old, is neutered and UTD on vaccinations.  He has been adopted out more than once - in one case the new owner wanted an outside dog and put him in a kennel and he barked; in another case the owner just didn't have the time for him.  Ghost has had some leash training and does pretty well but will pull on leash if excited. Sweet, loves to be around people.

His flaw besides barking is that he is not good with cats, so a home with no house cats is requested.
