Hi, I'm Bain!

I originally came from Idaho, where I lived in a farm-like situation in a home with lots of kiddos, chickens, farm critters, and another female Akbash. I don't know why the family surrendered me, but they said something about no longer being interested. I'm now living at Old Farm Kennels  and would love to find a new family to love me! I have had scuffles and fights with other male dogs, so a home with a female (or no other dogs) would be preferable.

I'm a  playful, good-natured guy that LOVES to snuggle, cuddle, and be as close to my humans as possible! I generally get along with pretty much everyone and everything!   I probably need to learn about quietly walking with my people on a leash - at least that is what my foster mom says.  I ride well in the car, enjoy spending time outdoors, and just like to be around my people. I am fine with chickens, cats, other friendly female dogs, and kids (and probably most farm critters, too).  I understand some and can easily learn more, just try me!

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
