Odin is a two-and-a-half year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees currently residing with a foster family in the country.  He LOVES playing with the other Pyrs at his foster home and is learning how to be polite with them.  This is what his foster mom has to say about this gorgeous boy:  Who’s looking to adopt a big giant sweetheart?! Odin has been doing great at our place. He’s super sweet with humans of all ages, has basic gentleman manners in the house, sleeping in his crate, and easy going with the cats. Had some issues living with another dog which he’s had some training for. He would need easy going companions or be an only dog. He’s been very responsive to training and is getting along great with my two male pyrs. He’s proving to be an awesome family dog!

Odin's Pyrfect home might have him as the only dog - or if the owner is Pyr savvy and would provide guidance, he could get along with the other dogs as he has been doing now.... apparently just needs some oversight.    He generally ignores other dogs in social situations (he is really rather shy) but he prefers to be the king of his own castle. We were told that he has done well with little ones.   He is a people dog and greets everyone with a tail wag!

Odin loves to be outdoors and does need a home with a fenced yard that allows him to spend as much time outside as he likes - of course he still wants a cozy bed inside at night.   Odin is definitely not a livestock guardian and will not watch your livestock.   He has not been tested around cats.
