Sasha definitely needs to go to a home where there are no other dogs or cats!

This girl is very loving, LOVES to play and to get and give attention, is a real snuggle bunny, and will make a great companion! 

Sasha is a beautiful girl that was initially rescued by a good samaritan who saw she was being treated poorly. She's an energetic girl that holds all the Pyr traits we know and love so well. Sasha has  had extreme aggression with dogs when any sort of food is around and even though she has undergone training to correct that trait, she will require an experienced owner who understands how to deal with this. Most recently she was adopted out to people who know dogs, live on 5 acres, and have tried hard to provide the pyrfect home for Sasha.....but while she hasn't proven to be an escape artist, she will take advantage of an open door or gate and become a disapyr.....she will still need a securely fenced yard.  Also, we have seen her "bounce" and she gets some height when she does.

Sasha must be best an only pet - unless someone VERY knowledgeable about Pyr traits comes along and would work with her to make sure she gets along with other animals. Cats are a very iffy thing for Sasha, she has nipped the cat in the home where she is now. 

Sasha has been to doggy daycare and has been to a groomer but she does have some separation anxiety.  Anyone who  wants a loving protector should consider Sasha as she would be the Pyrfect girl for that.  If you want to meet Sasha, she is being fostered in Shepherd MT and we can arrange a meeting for you.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other dog please do the following:

1.  Click here to fill out an adoption application

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
