Yes, Rocky is a dog that needs an experienced dog owner - but he is so very worth stepping up.

I love this boy!!!  Rocky is a big, solid, happy boy as far as people are concerned.  He may have issues with other dogs, you just need to watch when you first bring him home.   We don't know about cats but discounting them, this is the dog that I would want if I lived alone someplace remote.  He loves to smile at you - he just loves people and would happily be your best buddy.  One of our volunteers just took him on an overnight camping excursion and he was the perfect companion/watchdog.  He is very well mannered, doesn't pull on the leash when being walked, and loved playing with the toys she provided for him - plus was quite gentle when asked to open his mouth for her to take anything from him.

Rocky has unknown allergies and requires a certain diet - he is on Taste of The Wild Salmon and Sweet Potato and came to us with 4 large bags of this food - which he enjoys.  If you want a great protector this is your boy!!

Special Needs: Rocky has unknown food allergies and is fed only Taste of the Wild Salmon and Sweet Potato and owner left 4 bags of that with us for him.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
