We have a lot to find out about Champ but for now he is just learning about being in the kennel since he has spent his life running free - which is why he was brought to us.  Champ just didn't understand that he only needed to care for his owner's property, not all of the neighbors too - and that those neighbors in fact threatened to shoot him if he kept coming around.

Champ lived with livestock and was good with them, but wasn't one to want to stay with them.  We envision him eventually having a home on a small FENCED farm where he can roam around the livestock and keep predators away and continue to be the outside and free boy that he wants to be.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other dog please do the following:

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
