We have a lot to find out about Joey but for now he is just learning about being in the kennel since he has spent his life running free - which is why he was brought to us.  Joey and his buddy Champ just didn't understand that they only needed to care for their owner's property, not all of the neighbors too - and that those neighbors in fact threatened to shoot them if they kept coming around.

Joey lived with livestock and was good with them, but wasn't one to want to stay with them.  We envision him eventually having a home on a small FENCED farm where he can roam around the livestock and keep predators away and continue to be the outside and free boy that he wants to be.

If this sounds like the dog you want and need, give us a shout.  It will be a few days at least before Joey is ready for visitors as his "before" photo will show.

Note:  Joey's adoption fee is higher than some other dogs because he will be microchipped
