Meet Ripley.

This five-year-old Labrador retriever / Akbash mix is up to date on shots and spayed. She is currently residing in Billings, MT, and looking for her forever home because her family is no longer able to keep her.

Ripley is incredibly loyal, wonderful with responsible kids, and great with women. She takes awhile to warm up to men (due to former abuse), but is a smart and attentive dog. Miss Ripley would prefer a home where she is the only dog (she was used as a bait dog in the past). She is good with cats (but does enjoy chasing if outdoors). She is housebroken, crate trained, and enjoys barking. She loves walks, hiking and playing outside in the snow (but could use further leash training).

She is skilled at opening gates and doors (and needs a carabiner attached to keep this clever girl in).

This girl was pulled from an abusive home (prior to her current one) where her male owner used her as a bait dog, beat her, did not consistently feed her, and kept her in a constant state of neglect. 2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
