CaraMia really is a sweetheart - she had just never been in the right environment and now that she is she is a happy girl.

She is currently in a foster home that is providing her what she needs...... space.   Cara loves to be able to run when she wants to and needs a home that will allow her to be out with her people in a large fenced area.... she is not a city girl at all.

Her foster dads words:

This delightful young lady has so much love and affection to give, the right person or family will forever be embraced by this happy, but protective pup. She has lots of energy, however listens quite well so getting her into a very much enjoyed car ride on errands is no work at all. While very slight in build, she is incredibly strong and a prong collar or additional leash training will help with her exuberant walking style.

She is protective against newcomers, including children, but because she is so smart and sweet she adjusts with guidance and stern direction as to who is friend and who is foe. Cara Mia is playful after a proper introduction to other dogs and actually is quite comical to watch her leap and jump around as she chases her new found friends around the yard.

At night, she is excellent in the house after an interim audit for security and she settles right in and sleeps all night without issue. She will not make a good dog for those with tight yards, cars, pedestrians and other dogs running the fence line. Best to keep her attention of play, family and non foreign interruptions. She does not jump fences, but a new family should male sure she is a part of each day's events and activities. Lots of energy and lots of love are traits that will make for days of funs in the Montana sun.

A little extra information:

She has completed basic obedience classes. She loves to be petted and have her ears scratched. She has somewhat of a sensitive stomach. She loves to go on walks. Once she's accepted you, she is a big goofy marshmallow. She's very aware of everything that is going on around her. She loves to be around her humans and sleep with them or close to them.
