Nanny appears to be a very sweet girl but one that we don't know a lot about yet.  Her owner is going to foster her (in Ennis, MT) for us while we look for a great new family for her and this is what he has told us so far:

She's a fun playful dog when in a safe quiet place. Seems to be afraid of loud noises, cars, kids screaming,  people without dogs. While inside she mostly sleeps, but gets in a playful mood at least once a day. She doesn't follow or know any commands that I am aware of. Getting her to walk through doorways is difficult. She seems to act significantly better around other dogs and loves to play.  Defensive against new people and loud kids. Unless they have dogs, then she is very friendly. She is rather possessive about her food.

This owner has only had her for six months and she is between 3 & 4 years old, wish we knew more about her previous life!!  We will try to find out more about her as we look for a great new home for her.
