Welcome to GPRM Rio! This big, beautiful and loving 5-6 year old wants nothing more than to have affection from his people. Wherever you are, that's where Rio wants to be!  Rio is strong and independent about what he wants to do - needs some training to show him how to become an even better companion.

He has done well with all the dogs he's met, has been introduced to cats and doesn't look to be very interested.

Rio prefers to not be crated or kenneled, so a home where that isn't necessary is ideal for this boy.  He will follow you wherever you are going.  When he has to go into the kennel however, he is going to talk with you, I'm sure saying that he belongs out.

He is a master of the Pyr Paw, so a home without tiny kiddos might be best just make sure that he wouldn't knock them down while being playful.

Rio is up to date on his shots,  neutered and is ready for his forever home!

11/15/2021 Rio passed the kennel "Cat Scan" - this means that he was taken to the cat room at the kennel and altho a bit active definitely was not aggressive.  Yay Rio.....

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
