Boy has Howard come out of his shell since leaving the shelter and going to his wonderful foster home in Idaho.

Howard, Howie as his foster family calls him, was completely shut down in the shelter. It was almost impossible to get him in the car to go from the shelter straight to the vet. His before and after pics are only an hour apart but what a difference it made!

Howie is a big sweet boy. His foster mom describes him as that guy you meet who seems sort of shy, but then once you get to know him you find out he is goofy and funny and a big love. That's Howard!

He is great with other playful dogs, big and small! Isn't a huge barker.

Howie can be a bit timid at first when meeting new people and might have a slight preference for women.

This boy loves spending time outside but also wants to be part of the action!

He's still working on his leash manners and can be a little hesitant about going into new buildings, like the vet clinic but is a very trainable boy.

Howie was just neutered and brought up to date on shots and is now ready for his forever family!
