3 year old female Great Pyrenees near Lethbridge Alberta Canada in need of a foster or a permanent home.

This is Alaska, and through no fault of her own is in a dire situation. Her human recently passed away and she is currently staying at a relative of the deceased who DOES NOT want a large dog due to a fear of large dogs.

If she doesn’t find a home, she will end up in a shelter.

Alaska is 3 years old, but still full of puppy energy and loves to run and play! She’s friendly, good with other animals with proper introductions, though she plays a little too rough with the cats (Just doesn’t know any better yet. Currently she is outside in a kennel, though with her original owner she was an inside dog and is housetrained.

She’s loving, good with children (having been around very small kids, no problems) and just wants someone to love her! She is  not up to date on her vaccinations, though the people who have her now are willing to help out with the costs. She is not spayed, so this will have to be done in the future.

She is good on a leash, but hasn’t really received any proper training so you will have to teach her basic commands. I’m sure a bit of patience and high value treats will help a lot!

If you are able to help out with this girl, whether to foster or adopt, please contact Great Pyrenees Rescue Montana and fill out our application:  https://greatpyrrescuemt.rescuegroups.org/info/adoption

We are waiving all adoption fees for this girl in hopes she goes to a loving patient home who will help her blossom and become the beautiful dog she can be!
