Meet Peaches: The Resilient Sweetheart Looking for Her Forever Home!

Peaches is a sweet, sensitive girl with a heart full of love, but she hasn’t always had it easy. She is one of five dogs rescued from a heartbreaking neglect case in Red Lodge, MT (Carbon County). When we first learned about the situation, we stepped in to help the other four dogs, but Peaches was initially left behind as someone had expressed interest in her. However, just shortly after, we were contacted to take Peaches in too, and we’re so glad we did!

Though her past has been tough, Peaches is thriving in her foster home and has come a long way since her rescue. She’s up to date on her vaccines, and after gaining some much-needed weight, she’s becoming healthier and stronger every day. She is spayed as well.

What Makes Peaches Special:

  • Dog-Friendly: Peaches gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially male dogs. She loves having canine companions and thrives when she has other confident dogs to guide her.
  • Cuddle Bug: Peaches enjoys the company of her humans and loves to curl up by the fire for some cozy cuddle time. She’s calm and affectionate, making her the perfect snuggle buddy for those quiet nights in.
  • Great with Women: Peaches is particularly fond of women, but she can be a bit wary of men due to her past experiences. She’s learning to trust and will need a family who can offer her patience and understanding as she opens up to new people.
  • House-Trained & Well-Behaved: Peaches is completely house trained and hasn’t had any accidents indoors. She’s an easy girl to care for, and she loves to keep her space clean.
  • A Sensitive Soul: Peaches is still a bit shy and sensitive. When scared, she has been known to jump a fence to escape, so she will need a secure yard and an owner who understands her need for a calm, reassuring environment.

Peaches is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive. She would do best with confident dogs who can help her build her confidence and show her what it means to be a happy, well-adjusted dog. She needs a family who can be gentle and understanding as she learns to trust and feel safe in her new home.

If you’re looking for a gentle, resilient girl who is ready to offer love and cuddles, Peaches is the one for you. She’s waiting to find her forever home at her foster home in Kalispell, Montana, where she can finally have the peaceful life she truly deserves.

Peaches is ready to start her new chapter with you!
