Meet Ozzy – 1.5-Year-Old Classic Great Pyrenees

Ozzy is a 1.5-year-old, sweet, playful, and lovable Classic Great Pyrenees looking for his forever home. While he is full of energy and absolutely adores people, Ozzy does have some specific needs that require an experienced owner who can provide the time, patience, and training he deserves.

About Ozzy:

  • Personality: Ozzy is a fun, bouncy, and affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and will happily climb into your lap for attention. He is very people-oriented and forms strong bonds with those he trusts.
  • Training: Ozzy knows basic commands such as "sit," "leave it," and "paw." He is highly trainable and eager to please, but due to his reactivity to other dogs, he will need continued training and socialization to help build his confidence.
  • Other Pets: Ozzy requires a home where he is the only dog. He is reactive to other dogs and lacks confidence in social situations, so he needs a calm, quiet environment to work on his behavior. He may be open to a puppy in the future once he has built more confidence, but at this time, a single-dog household is necessary. He is not recommended for homes with cats or farm animals.
  • Crate Training: Ozzy is good in his crate and does well with structure.

What Ozzy Needs:

  • An experienced owner who can help him through training and provide a consistent, positive environment.
  • A home with no other dogs for now, as he will require time and patience to work on his reactivity.
  • Someone who is committed to continuing his socialization and building his confidence through positive reinforcement.

If you're an experienced dog owner and ready to give Ozzy the time, attention, and training he needs, he could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s a sweet, fun-loving boy who just needs the right environment to thrive!
