Meet Missy: The Playful and Loving Pup Looking for Her Forever Home!

Missy is a beautiful, all-white mixed breed who was originally thought to be a White German Shepherd. However, after getting to know her, we’ve discovered that she’s actually a delightful combination of 48% Great Pyrenees, 23% Doberman Pinscher, and a few other breeds that contribute to her unique charm. At just under 2 years old, Missy is an energetic, sweet, and loving pup who is ready for a fresh start in a home that can match her playful spirit!

A Rescue Story with a Happy Ending:

We pulled Missy from a California kill shelter, where she was overlooked because of the misconception that she was a White German Shepherd. Once we saw her in person, we knew immediately she was so much more than that! She deserves a chance to shine, and we believe her perfect family is out there waiting for her.

Missy’s Personality & Behavior:

Missy is an active and fun-loving girl who enjoys both indoor and outdoor life. She spends a lot of her time in a play run with her Shepherd friends, but she’s equally content in her crate, which is where she sleeps at night and takes her "naptimes" after meals. Missy is crate-trained, house-trained, and well-behaved when it comes to basic commands. She’s great with other dogs and children, and she greets new people with a wagging tail. Missy has a kind heart and gets along with everyone she meets!

She is a well-adjusted pup and doesn’t show signs of anxiety when left alone with other dogs around. She’s never tried to escape her fenced yard, which is contained by a 5-foot chain link or wrought iron fence, but she does enjoy running around and playing with her furry friends. Missy is crate-trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and is fully housebroken. She walks well on a leash and is still learning to respond to recall, but she’s eager to please!

Is Missy the Right Fit for You?

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate dog who will make a fantastic companion, Missy may be the perfect match for you!
