9-6-06 Gerdi loves to chase anything that runs: cats, rabbits, wild turkeys, deer... you name it. I don't know what she'd do if she caught what she is chasing. Gerdi is incredibly playful and has unlimited energy. Gerdi will wrestle and chase with another dog for hours - literally. Gerdi does love pets and human attention also. Gerdi will need a large, securely fenced area to romp in. She'll do best in a family with lots of activity, and with people who have time to give her the daily exercise she needs Gerdi is only around 2 years old.

PERMANENT FENCING IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ADOPTIONS
FENCING MUST BE AT LEAST 5 FT. HIGH
**NOTE** The electric underground fencing is unacceptable for this breed

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other dog please do the following:

1.  Click here to fill out an adoption application

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
