Learn more about the Anatolian Shepherd.
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING Chester is a big goofy young teenager. He runs so hard around the yard he looses his footing and either falls on his side or skids into the fence! He will soon outgrow this stage but for now he sure makes us laugh. Chester will make an excellent guard dog for someone out in the boonies. In our large yard (1 acre) he will always come to his name when called. He is learning to walk on his lead, but should never be in a home that needs to tie him to keep him safe. Poor guy has skin and hair missing from his neck from being left tied. Chester is in an outside kennel if we need to leave the house. He doesn't dig or bark when kenneled. I have never seen him try to get out. OOPS I take that back...he does bark when the other dogs are right outside the kennel having wrestling matches ! Who can blame him? He learned to Sit in a matter of moments with garlic/cheese bread, cut in small bits. His color is a beautiful wheat gold now that he has had a bath. Chester is being fostered in Renton, WA. For more information please contact NASRN Rescue Coordinator Sandy Solberg at Email: msolberg@earthlink.net This dog is not available as a working LGD, companion homes only please. PLEASE NOTE: We will try to assist with transport within 500 miles for foster homes and 1000 miles for adoptive homes. ALL ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A SECURE FENCE
