Learn more about the Anatolian Shepherd.
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING We feel Zoot is very young,,maybe 5 to 6 months. He does have goldish eyes. We were told Zoot was an Anatolian mix but we feel he is purebred. He came to use skin and bones from a shelter. Even though he was basically starved he is not food agressive When he gains a bit more weight he will be neutered. At that time the vet can give a better idea of his age. He loves the yard but prefers to be with his humans. If there is someone looking for a large, protective dog to be with them when they walk, ride a horse, go to the store....Zoot is the guy for you. Today Zoot was laying by my bedside...my 10lb Miniature Pinscher somehow got loose and came running at Zoot. Zoot did nothing other then wonder what that little loud mouth dog was. They were together for a couple hours with Zoot showing no agressiveness!! What a good boy . Zoot will gladly go in a crate, outside kennel or car. He still becomes worreied if someone in the house raises their voice....so he would be happiest in a home where everyone is low keyed.or willing to keep working with him. Zoot walks well on a lead and now knows Sit,both hand signal and voice. He would make an excellent obedience dog...he loves to please and loves to learn. Zoot would just love to be a housedog!! Zoot is in foster care in Renton, WA.
