About Hannibal

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Ear Type: Natural/Uncropped
Hannibal is a beautiful 11 months old, purebred Great Pyrenees pup. He was rescued by kind samaritans from a very abusive and neglectful situation. His rescuers could not keep him and contacted our organization for help. Hannibal is a very sweet boy. He loves to play with people and other dogs. He gets along well with everyone, including cats. Hannibal understands basic commands and walks well on a leash, but will need additional training. Due to bad experiences with humans, Hannibal is initially very timid with strangers, especially men. He needs to be introduced slowly, with gentle voices and demeanor. Hannibal can be very exhuberant. He might knock over small children in an attempt to play. Hannibal loves to be with people, is house trained and will make a wonderful family member. His adoption donation is $275.
