Elmer is a darling boy. This purebred 7 year old used to be a beloved therapy dog, but his Mom was unable to keep him due to personal issues. She tearfully surrendered this precious boy. Elmer is very calm and sweet, incredibly affectionate with people and easy going with other dogs. He loves to play and romps several times a day with his friend, Maggie Mae. Elmer will make a wonderful addition to any family and will love everyone in the house- except for the cats. He seems not to like those at all. Elmer is a bit of a barker and requires a secure 5' fence.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
