Lakoda came to us from a shelter in Elko, NV and is a beautiful boy - although extremely thin.  The Elko shelter had adopted him to a family who were unable to keep him in their yard due to a lack of proper fencing - so back to the shelter and then on to us. 

Everyone, from shelter employees to transporters, who has come in contact with Lakoda has fallen in love with him and his sweet and loving manner.

To adopt him you will need to complete our adoption application, undergo a home visit (unless you have already been approved for adoption), and provide adequate 6' fencing - remember, he has been known to escape and we don't want that to happen again.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other dog please do the following:

1.  Click here to fill out an adoption application

2. We will check your vet reference.

3. We will set up for a home visit. The 4 ft or higher fencing must be in place and be very secure for the adoption to proceed.

4. If everything has passed, we will then have you work with the foster parent of the dog(s) you are interested in adopting.

5. The adoption contract must be received along with the adoption fee for the dog before a transport will be arranged.
