Bud is a 4 year old neutered male Great Pyrenees in need of a new home - quickly.  Bud has lived with goats for all of his 4 years but has injured goat kids and his owners have had enough.  It has been speculated that Bud might have been trying to play since he has no Pyr playmates, but regardless it has resulted in injuries that are not acceptable.  He weighs approximately 100 lbs, has been around children ages 8-11-14-18-20 with no issues.  He will chase outside cats and is said to not get along with other dogs.  He is NOT crate trained and we don't believe that he is up to date on vaccinations.

5/18/15  The following information follows a visit by one of our volunteers yesterday:

A few key points from meeting him:

- unsure of new people

- flinched when the owners reached for him a few times

- only single dews on hind legs (they didn't see the parents but were told both were full pyr)

- no food aggression with people

- pretty small dog (we're guessing 70-80 pounds. definitely a "pocket pyr!")

- did well with meeting Mauja (volunteers female Pyr) and my overly enthusiastic male, 1 year old. he was definitely nervous, but interested. He allowed both of them to sniff, but lots of crouching.

- we were told he has been around small kids (as young as three) in the past, but was overly excited

He is just the sweetest, little guy.
