Our Rooby has been with her foster dad for several months and has made great progress in her development, he even took her into a PetsMart recently - which shows phenomenal improvement.

He also reports that she adores an 80 year old neighbor who isn't around full time, but when he is around Rooby wants his attention.  She also loves the neighbors on the other side of his home and is absolutely smitten with the two German Shepherd dogs across his back fence and plays with them through the wire field fence - and since recently there is a yellow Lab pup there too now, Rooby is over the moon - she waits for the pup to play, even dug (imagine a Pyrbash digging) under the fence to the point that the little guy could squeeze under and come play with her.

Rooby is also really llistening to her foster dad when he gives her commands.  It is apparent that she is maturing in a very positive manner now and is ready for a new permanent home.

Rooby will require more attention and training but she has a great foundation and learns quickly.  She loves to be with her person, wither in the home or out for walks or hikes in the mountains.

Rooby was found abandoned in the Utah wilds as a very young pup - we think she was born around July 28, 2015. Rooby is probably part Great Pyrenees and part Akbash.

Rooby often wears a Citronella bark collar (NOT a shock collar) which keeps her barking in check.
