Meet Rueben – A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold

Rueben is a 9-year-old purebred Great Pyrenees (yep, DNA confirmed!) who’s looking for a soft place to land after his family made the difficult decision to move overseas. With a job relocation to London, they didn’t want to put Rueben through the stress of international travel at his age—and when a backup plan fell through, they did the right thing and reached out to us.

Rueben is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and despite a past ACL surgery at age 3 that left him with a slight limp, he’s doing great. This big sweetheart is friendly, calm, and wonderful with kids (just look at that face!). He’s good with female and smaller dogs, but hasn’t had any exposure to cats.

Rueben is located in Livingston, MT, and is available for meet and greets. His family is moving by September 1, so we’d love to get this sweet senior into a loving forever home before then. If you’re looking for a mellow, loyal companion who’s already mastered the art of being a good boy, Rueben’s your guy.
